On August 26, 2024, the CIAT Executive Secretariat received a visit from members of the Board of Directors of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) – Panama. During the visit, a meeting was held with the Executive Secretary, Mr. Márcio F. Verdi, and the Director of International Cooperation and Taxation, Mr. Gonzalo Arias, during which various topics of mutual interest were discussed.

As part of the meeting, the CIAT Executive Secretary was officially invited to participate as a speaker in the I International Taxation Congress of the IFA, to be held on December 4, 2024, in Panama City.
