In 2025, tax revenues in CIAT member countries grew on average by 5.2% in constant terms, with almost all of them (20 out of 21) recording increases in revenue collection. By tax type, the trend was positive across all categories: income taxes rose by 6.7%, VAT by 3.4%, excise taxes by 0.9%, and other taxes by 6.2%. Latin America and the Caribbean recorded an average revenue increase of 4.6% compared to 2024.
