On February 22-26, 2016 was held in Montevideo, Uruguay, the International Seminar on Fiscal policy and Tax Administration corresponding to the first 2015-2016 edition of the Official University Master in Public Finance and Tax Administration and Finance, specializing in Tax Administration and Financial Administration.

This seminar was organized by the Institute of Fiscal Studies (IEF); the National University of Distance Education (UNED); the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID); ICEX Spain Export and Investment and with the collaboration of the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT) and the State Tax Administration Agency (AEAT). It involved several university professors and experts from the Spanish Administration.

The two specialties of the Masters in Public Finance and Tax and Financial Administration respond to the same design, follow the same distance learning methodology and share different academic and institutional aspects.

Next September, the second seminar will be held in Madrid (Spain), which will culminate this Master’s program that has started a new cycle in the 2015-2016 course.
