The 60th CIAT General Assembly was held from May 12 to 14, 2026, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, under the central theme: “Digital Transformation of Tax Administrations.” The event was organized in collaboration with the General Directorate of Internal Revenue of the Dominican Republic.

The event brought together delegations from CIAT member countries, international organizations, and invited countries.

During the Assembly, technical sessions, networking opportunities, and discussions were held on the challenges and opportunities of digitalization in tax administration.

The Assembly reaffirmed the member countries’ commitment to modernizing tax administrations and strengthening international cooperation.
