The Central American Institute for Fiscal Studies – ICEFI- developed the international seminar “The Central American fiscal face in the new global context” on March 13 and 14 in Guatemala City.

The event included speakers from international organizations such as the IMF, the ECLAC; academic institutions as the Complutense University of Madrid and Tulane University, and distinguished official speakers from the Ministries of Economy and Finance and Central Banks from different countries of the region. Topics were also presented by several researchers of the center itself.

The CIAT Technical Assistance Director, Mr. Raul Zambrano, developed a presentation on “Strengthening the Tax Administrations.”
