Andrea Podestá
Economist and international consultant in areas related to fiscal and tax policy, tax incentives, tax reforms, social spending, income distribution, national and international tax evasion, international tax cooperation, subnational government finances, public debt, among others. Author of numerous studies and articles on tax policy in Latin American and Caribbean countries, which have been published mainly by the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and other institutions such as UNICEF, the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT), the Institute of Fiscal Studies of Spain (IEF) and international journals.
She holds a B.A. in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo and an M.A. in Applied Economics from the Universidad de Chile. She is a professor of Public Finance at the University of Mendoza.
