CIAT participated in the Annual Meeting of the Federation of Tax Administrations (FTA)

From June 8 to 11, our Director of Technical Assistance and Innovation, Raúl Zambrano, participated as a speaker at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Federation of Tax Administrators (FTA).
This event is one of the most important meetings of the year for tax administration professionals in the U.S., bringing together policy makers, technical specialists, and private sector representatives to analyze trends, share experiences and improve collection practices.
The panel “Trends in International Tax Administration” was moderated by Michelle Reed, from EY; Thiago Salvioni, from the Secretariat of Finance of the City of São Paulo; Paul Broderick, Commissioner of the Tax Office of the State of Victoria in Australia; and Raul Zambrano, CIAT’s Director of Technical Assistance and Innovation.
This panel discussed issues related to the use of technology in tax administrations, its opportunities, and challenges, including issues related to the provision of services, the use of artificial intelligence and the potential of Continuous Transaction Control Mechanisms – CTC.
