During the Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB) Stakeholder Workshop that took place from October 16-17th, 2025, CIAT participated in Session 6: Unlocking Success: Scaling TIWB’s Impact Through Global and Regional Partnerships along with representatives from the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF), the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development  (IGF) and the World Bank.This session emphasized the importance of regional and sector specific collaboration to meet the growing demand for tax administration support.

Participants agreed that closer coordination, knowledge sharing, and alignment of initiatives can strengthen results and complement efforts.Embedding global standards into local training and mentoring systems was also highlighted as essential for long-term sustainability. The workshop reaffirmed that collaboration, clarity, and customization are central to making international tax cooperation more effective and enduring.
