From September 16 to 20, 2024, the CIAT Financial Affairs Advisory Subcommittee (FAAS) met at the Executive Secretariat to analyze the organization’s financial statements and share experiences in financial management.

This subcommittee, made up of experts in the financial field such as Javier Etcheberry, Director of the Chilean Internal Revenue Service, Alexander Amado of the Canada Revenue Agency and Onássis Simões da Luz of the Receita Federal of Brazil, devoted the meeting to an in-depth analysis of the audited financial statements as of June 30, 2024.

The Financial Affairs Advisory Subcommittee (FAAS) plays a key role in the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT), acting as a highly relevant advisory body on financial management.
