International Launch of the Guide for the Implementation of Accounting and Tax Support Nuclei (NAF) in Panama: Fostering Tax Excellence at the National Level (Spanish Only)
The General Directorate of Revenue of Panama is pleased to announce the launching of the Implementation and Operation Guide of the Accounting and Tax Support Nuclei (NAF), a transcendental milestone in the national sphere to strengthen training in accounting and tax issues.
The initiative, framed within the Accounting and Tax Support Nuclei Program, presents an unprecedented opportunity for students from universities and institutes of higher education in areas such as law, accounting, finance, international relations, business and public administration, as well as those interested in citizenship issues.
The NAF Training Guide focuses on providing comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations, reinforcing the skills necessary to offer free assistance by university students in accounting and tax matters to individuals and micro-enterprises, strengthening voluntary compliance. This effort, supervised by expert professors, will allow students to provide specialized guidance under the supervision of the General Revenue Directorate.
This guide offers the necessary guidelines and phases so that study centers, as well as countries that wish to replicate this tax citizenship model in the best way possible.
Nicole Montufar, Coordinator of International Plans and Projects of the DGI, together with the coordinators of the Centers of Higher Studies, is in charge of the implementation and coordination of this program.
This initiative marks a significant advance in the preparation of future professionals and reinforces Panama’s commitment to national tax excellence.
